Company Description
Elna's Dress Shop was started by a Danish immigrant, Elna Larsen, who settled in South Dakota as a child. She moved to Solvang in 1942 and started the dress shop. The cornerstone of Elna's was authentic, handmade Danish costumes with patterns she developed herself - patterns that are still used in the creation of the handmade costumes today. Sue Manning worked at Elna's in 1997 and in 2004 she bought the store.
Today, Elna's Dress Shop caters to locals and tourists by offering a variety of items to suit many tastes.
Please also visit our sister store, Sue's Place, in Lompoc. Sue's Place also specializes in ladies apparel, jewelry, accessories and gifts. http://www.sues-place.com
