Looking for recommendations Today I had my older uncle show up at my house with all his belonging in a uhaul. He has Alzheimers and left his apt in Gowanda after a argument with his daughter. His daughter wants nothing to do with him, he is a handful. He no longer has a vehicle .I havent spoken to him in a year and a half . We arent able to care for him. Im actually at the police station right now looking for some guidance to help him find a place that suits his mental needs - does anyone know of a place that may be able to assist me .Keep in mind he thinks he is perfectly fine .Thanks in advance

Anyone know of a local support group for caregivers of people with Alzsteimer disease?

Admin, erase if need be.. BUT. I work at a hotel in Ventura and there is a man here with Alzheimer's disease. His family has deserted him and he can't remember where they are.. They have his van and all personal belongings inside, and his daughter and granddaughter that he was with won't answer any calls... We have called police, made police reports, called social services (twice), reached out to family members.. I've done it all, exhausting my resources.. Does anyone have any suggestions? Or places that might be able to help? I'm at a loss for words.. I don't know what to do anymore..
