Company Description

Montecito Security Systems is owned by Santa Barbara local James Budow. In 2000 he opened his first Santa Barbara tech business, Performance Audio. As his career progressed he moved into security and IT. In 2014 he attained his security license and moved into the security and alarm business, building a large Santa Barbara company. In 2018 he sold his interest in his company of 45 employees, realizing he missed one-on-one client interaction, leading to the formation of Montecito Security Systems, a boutique security company located in Santa Barbara.
